August 21, 2004 11:41 am Quad sculls crew takes 11th placeSCHINIAS, Greece - The U.S. men's quadruple sculls team of Kent Smack (Clinton, N.J.), Brett Wilkinson (Hyde Park, N.Y.),Ben Holbrook (Hartland, Wis.) and Sloan DuRoss (South Portland, Maine) finished 11th overall at the Schinias Olympic Rowing and Canoeing Center. The U.S. boat was fifth in Saturday's B final in a time of 6:07.83 - good enough to beat Great Britain but trailing Australia, Switzerland, Estonia and Italy. The gold-medal race is Sunday.
